THE COUNTRY HOUSE
This comprehensive renovation transformed a traditional four-bedroom house into a thoughtfully designed, future-ready family home. The project involved reconfiguring the existing layout to enhance functionality, flow, and space—both for immediate comfort and long-term flexibility.
Downstairs, the kitchen and dining room walls were removed to form an expansive, open-plan kitchen—a space designed with future plans in mind for an additional living extension. The layout now encourages effortless entertaining and family life, with symmetry and balance introduced through a reworked utility room entrance.
To better serve the needs of a busy household, an underused corridor was cleverly repurposed to house a new toilet, allowing space for the addition of a highly practical boot room—ideal for coats, shoes, and everyday essentials.
From structural changes to subtle refinements, this renovation carefully balances character and practicality, transforming a once-traditional house into a light-filled, modern home that meets the evolving needs of contemporary family life.
